銀箔を貼ってから、上に硫黄含有の液体を塗り、アイロンのスチームをかけて銀箔を焼きました。この時硫化水素が発生するので換気必須です。そして予想以上に派手になりどうしたものかと思案中。これから引き算の作業です。

I applied liquid including sulfur on the silver leaf in the picture , and steamed sulfurize the silver leaf. At that time, must be careful about the generation of hydrogen sulfide:( As a result, silver leaf changed too vivid color beyond prediction, oh no… It needs doing subtraction.

岩絵の具を盛り上げて謎の紋様を作りました。この上に金箔を貼ろうと思ってたけど、銀箔に変えて硫黄で焼くのも超有りです。ただ硫黄、死ぬ程臭いらしいから要注意です。

I drew a mysterious pattern while piling up rock paints. At first I made a plan to use gold leaf on that pattern, but now I’m thinking about using silver leaf sulfurising with sulfur. In case of that, I must be careful about super bad smell for sulfur!!

画面にカラフルな合成岩絵具を乗せて、上から落ち着いた色をかけて綺麗な色がチラ見えする効果を狙いたい。のだけど、合成岩絵具に膠がちゃんとコーティング出来てないのと、恐らく下地の水干との相性が悪いらしく、部分的に絵の具が付着してくれない。困ります、とても困ります。

My aim is to be able to see the vivid colors between the gaps of dark colour in the picture. So I applied artificial paints which are more vivid than natural ones. However they probably couldn’t adhere sufficiently because of lack of coating with natural glue, and compatibility between artficial paints and based mud paints is bad. omg(o_o)

水干絵の具で色付け中。この目的は水干だと伸びて画面が埋めやすく、あと色が入ると安心するのと、岩絵具で埋めようとするとかなりの量が必要で経済的によろしくないからです^_^

Painted with Suihi paint (made by mud). it’s easy to fill with color using Suihi because of having well-spreading. But in case of Rock paint , if I use it to do same thing, it needs a lot of amount so it’s quite unreasonable:p

ようやく個展で展示予定の１つ目の作品が完成しました！山を越えると意外とスムーズに出来ました。そしてDMとチラシ作りに取りかかり、こちらも完成＾＾

At last, one of works, which expect to be on display at next exhibition, was completed!! After passing the hardest stage, it progressed smoothly beyond prediction. And also making postcard and flyer was completed !

胡粉と方解末を混ぜたもの。怪しい粉に見えなくもない ＾＾それを画面に置いて盛り上げて行きます。超地道な作業でめっちゃ疲れます！でも楽しい。後々、このマチエールが効いてきます。多分。

Mixed Gofun( by seashells) and Hokaimatsu ( by glass) , looks like illegal powder, though?! And that mixture is piling up on the picture. I feel tired I could die due to detailed work…but fun:) Eventually, this Matière will effect the result of work maybe.

完成度75〜80%。今が一番しんどい段階。完成図が見えてるのに足踏みしてるから。もうあと一息。。

75~80% of completion. It’s the hardest stage right now. It’s frustrating that progress is slow in spite of knowing completed image. I wanna get over that ASAP（´-`）

2作目の日本画制作開始です。初めて麻布を使います。60F(1303x970mm)にベースの黄土を塗ったところ。これから2作同時進行です。

Started making the second work using a linen cloth which I use for the first time . I applied ochre as a base coat on 60F. I’m drawing two works simultaneously from today (*_*)
